When You Least Expect

Greetings to all. This Wednesday, let us be watchful and prepared for the unexpected.

In life, we often expect many things. We can become so busy expecting to get what we want or need that we lose focus on God's work. Then every day becomes just an ordinary day. When this happens, it can cause us to stop preparing for Christ’s promised return, the hour of which no one knows.

Matthew 24:44 (NIV84)

44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

Lesson: Even though we have the Spirit with us, we must still live a life of readiness. We should be prepared to leave earth or prepared for Christ to return. In both cases, the most unexpected events will happen when we least expect them.
