Greetings to all. This Thursday, let us please God by doing good to others.
Giving the fragrance of generosity is a lifestyle, not a moment. Many people see worship as praying, singing, or reading Scripture. But the Bible says when we give, it rises to God like a pleasing fragrance. We can never give more than God, but every kind and generous act brings Him joy.
Philippians 4:18 (MSG)
18 And now I have it all—and keep getting more! The gifts you sent with Epaphroditus were more than enough, like a sweet-smelling sacrifice roasting on the altar, filling the air with fragrance, pleasing God no end.
Lesson: God provides for all our needs. Let's be generous with our time, gifts, and compassion, all of which are acceptable. These are our modern-day sacrifices through which others can experience the love of Christ.
