Your Prayer Has Been Heard

Greetings to all. On this grateful Thursday, we thank God for the privilege of prayer.

Prayer is what believers trust in to communicate with God. However, approaching God in prayer is a privilege few take, often because of the fear of not being heard or answered.

Psalm 66:16–20 (MSG)

16 All believers, come here and listen, let me tell you what God did for me.

17 I called out to him with my mouth, my tongue shaped the sounds of music.

18 If I had been cozy with evil, the Lord would never have listened.

19 But he most surely did listen; he came on the double when he heard my prayer.

20 Blessed be God: he didn’t turn a deaf ear, he stayed with me, loyal in his love.

Lesson: While there are prayers God will not hear, believers have the assurance of answered prayers. The result or the timing may not be to your liking, but one thing is for sure: the answer will be on time.
