Our Hiding Place and Hope

Greetings to all. As we begin this new week, let us not forget that God promises never to leave us or forsake us.

Feeling that God is not with us can cause us to be fearful and seek refuge. We are rightfully fearful as we live in a fallen world where morals seem to be flipping upside down. Despite and most of all because of the evildoers in the world, God will stick with us. Not only will he stick with us, but as believers, He will be our hiding place and our hope.

Psalm 119:114–115 (MSG)

114You’re my place of quiet retreat; I wait for your Word to renew me.

115Get out of my life, evildoers, so that I can keep my God’s commands.

Lesson: As long as God sticks with us and we honor His words, we will be alright.
