Wounds And Kisses

Greetings to all; may our rest and healing begin as we reflect on the truths and the hurts from this past week.

In life, the truth, at times, can wound and hurt us. But they are necessary for us to become better. While there are those who, out of love and good intentions, are straight with us and tell us the truth, we would rather have those who are fake, agreeing, and unconcerned.

Proverbs 27:6 (GW)

6 Wounds made by a friend are intended to help, but an enemy's kisses are too much to bear.

Lesson: Because Christians are constantly being tested, tempted, and singled out, we must surround ourselves with faithful, wise people and friends who are truthful. Let us welcome and accept the truth in love but pay attention and pull away from the fake kisses.
