Prepared Not Scared

This Sunday, let us open our hearts to receive God’s blessing through His word, which prepares us.

Some people avoid certain parts of God’s word because they worry it might frighten them. Revelation is often the book people fear most. But God promises blessings to those who read and follow His prophetic messages, which can guide us through uncertain times.

Revelation 1:3 (GW)

3 Blessed is the one who reads, as well as those who hear the words of this prophecy and pay attention to what is written in it, because the time is near. 

Lesson: When we read, listen to, and focus on God’s word, especially the prophetic messages and commandments, we are being prepared for what lies ahead. God’s word gives us wisdom and confidence to live well in the days to come, not to make us afraid.
