Worthy Through the Blood

Greetings to all. As we gather this Sunday, may each of us feel worthy.

In our society, some people in positions of power or with wealth may think they can decide who is worthy. But as believers, from the greatest to the least, we know that only God gives true approval and worthiness. This does not come from what we do, but through the Blood of Jesus.

Romans 5:9–10 (GW)

9 Since Christ’s blood has now given us God’s approval, we are even more certain that Christ will save us from God’s anger.

10 If the death of his Son restored our relationship with God while we were still his enemies, we are even more certain that, because of this restored relationship, the life of his Son will save us.

Lesson: As humans, we all have failures and faults. Still, because Jesus gave his life for us, our relationship with God is restored, and we can be confident that God sees us as worthy.
