Worship in Action

Greetings to all. As we worship this Sunday, let us move past simply occupying a pew.

Everyone can have and benefit from God’s Word, which is justice for all. In His sovereignty, God wants us to worship Him in spirit and in truth as we live out our responsibility in faith. Ignorance is no excuse; those without His Word must know that God shows no partiality and will judge us all fairly and with righteous judgment.

Romans 2:13 (GW)

13 People who merely listen to the laws in Moses’ Teachings don’t have God’s approval. Rather, people who do what those laws demand will have God’s approval.

Lesson: While attending church is essential and begins our journey from hearers to doers of the word, we must seek to obey God because discipleship is about obedience, not just attendance. So, keep attending church, and walk boldly in your faith and actions.
