Words Matter

Greetings to all. As we navigate life, it is essential to distinguish between a lie and the truth.

Because our words matter, we should speak good and truthful words.  Lies spread quickly. They often catch on because they touch our feelings and seem appealing. But the truth lasts. It builds trust in our relationships and communities. When we know the difference, we can choose honesty and inspire others to do the same.

Proverbs 12:19 (MSG)

19 Truth lasts; lies are here today, gone tomorrow.

Lesson: The main message is clear, while lies can be tempting and offer immediate rewards, the lasting value lies in truth. Speaking with honesty deepens trust and connection. Although lies may bring short-term gains, truth preserves our integrity and relationships over time.
