Woke For a Reason

Greetings to all. Let us set aside last week’s struggles and be grateful for God’s new day.

Let us remember those who did not wake up today and offer a prayer for them. Each day we wake is a gift, even if God’s timing is hard to understand. We can trust Him to wake us for a reason.

Romans 13:13–14 (MSG)

13We can’t afford to waste a minute, must not squander these precious daylight hours in frivolity and indulgence, in sleeping around and dissipation, in bickering and grabbing everything in sight.

14Get out of bed and get dressed! Don’t loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute. Dress yourselves in Christ and be up and about!

Lesson: In hard times, do not give up, wake up, put on Christ, and trust Him to wake us each day for a reason.
