Whether We Live Or Die

Greetings to all; this weekend, let us value and recognize that our lives are pointless without the Lord.

This life on earth is not permanent, and it matters how we live it and treat others. Thank God, the resurrection of Jesus changes everything and makes life worth living and dying because Jesus is our source for living forever.

Romans 14:7–9 (GNB)

7 None of us lives for ourselves only; none of us dies for ourselves only.

8 If we live, it is for the Lord that we live, and if we die, it is for the Lord that we die. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

9 For Christ died and rose to life to be the Lord of the living and the dead.

Lesson: It can be challenging, but we have a purpose for living and must not let anyone or anything cause us to lose our desire or ambition for living. As believers, we can be comforted knowing whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord, and we should be dying to live, not living to die.
