Greetings to all, this Saturday, may we let go of the worries of our past. May each of us experience rest in the promises of God's words.
God is faithful and promises us peace and rest. However, we tend to bring our past issues and concerns into the future and present. We have a habit of saying, "what if, when we worry and are doubtful, anything good is going to happen for or to us.
1 Kings 8:56–57 (MSG)
56 "Blessed be GOD, who has given peace to his people Israel just as he said he'd do. Not one of those good and wonderful words that he spoke through Moses has misfired.
57 May GOD, our very own God, continue to be with us just as he was with our ancestors—may he never give up and walk out on us.
Lesson: Despite it being Satan's job to disturb our rest and rob us of our peace, we don't have to worry about things we can't fix and the "what if" things that may never happen because God is faithful to His word.
