Greetings to all, as we began this new week, let us ask God to cover our loved ones and us with His protecting wings from all hurt and harm. Let us especially continue to pray for our education system that is being challenged like never before as more of our schools are opening today. Amen

As we continue to live through this pandemic, many of us may find ourselves asking Is there any hope for us?

While the virus is creating havoc on our societies, we don't have to look far to see that humanity is adding to the chaos. All over the world today, the pandemic is testing the foundation of institutions and causing their pillars to crumble.

Many people have taken on the ideology of "Us" versus "Them" and are not living according to God's word, which says, "love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love—honor one another above ourselves (Romans 12:9-10).

These words are not a suggestion! God is commanding each of us to live like that. God always had a plan for us to rely on each other since the beginning of time, and it began with Adam and Eve.

'No Man is an Island' - John Donne

Apostle Paul wrote the following scripture doing a time of great division.

Romans 3:9-12 (TLB)

9 Well, then, are we Jews better than others? No, not at all, for we have already shown that all men alike are sinners, whether Jews or Gentiles.

10 As the Scriptures say, "No one is good—no one in all the world is innocent."

11 No one has ever really followed God's paths or even truly wanted to.

12 Everyone has turned away; all have gone wrong. No one anywhere has kept on doing what is right, not one.

The fact that we need each other remains true for each of us today, and while we're not meant to go through life alone, we must be careful not to rely on those around us solely; but to entirely rely on God for He is with us.

Lesson: We must hold on to what is right, pure, and divine during these difficult times.

We must allow our need to be seen right in God's sight to point us toward Christ, and we must show love to each other.

We do have some good people who are doing some good things, and for that, we thank God.
