Water For The Thirsty

Greetings to all; I pray that spiritually thirsty people realize the need to drink from the fountain that flows the water of eternal life this Sunday.

The world is thirsty for Christ, but so many fail to seek the living water that Jesus promises will quench the spiritual thirst of humanity through the Holy Spirit and His Word.

As humans, we are not self-sustaining and can expect to have needs. These needs are either natural or spiritual. The good thing is that once we are conscious and aware of our needs, we can then seek the source.

Psalm 63:1 (GNB)

1 Longing for God O God, you are my God, and I long for you. My whole being desires you; like a dry, worn-out, and waterless land, my soul is thirsty for you.

Lesson: Because God promises to pour water on our thirsty souls, and Jesus invites all who are thirsty to come and drink from the free-flowing fountain of water to eternal life (John 4:14), we never have to worry about dying thirsty
