Watching Out for Deceptions

Greetings to all. Not only on Sundays, but let’s stay alert to those who might try to mislead us and make sure we are not deceived.

Deception has always been around. Sometimes, it’s beginning to feel like the prophesied signs of the end of time. From the beginning, Satan used deception to make Eve question and doubt God’s instructions. That same spirit is present today. Each of us needs to take the advice to study, become students of the Bible, and learn to understand God’s word correctly.

2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV 1900)

15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Lesson: Be careful not to deceive others or let yourself be deceived. Deception brings many hidden and untold dangers. Jesus warns us clearly and unmistakably to pay attention so that no one leads us astray.
