Greetings to all, on this blessed Tuesday, while we know the importance of asking the Lord to order our every step, it's equally important for us to ask Him to order our speech. Amen
Words are more powerful than a sword and can be powerful tools or weapons according to how we choose to use them. As Christians who study God's word daily, we are filled with the capacity to speak healings and blessings for others with the words that we speak.
James 1:26 (NCV)
26 People who think they are religious but say things they should not say are just fooling themselves. Their "religion "is worth nothing.
Ephesians 4:29 (NCV)
29 When you talk, do not say harmful things, but say what people need—words that will help others become stronger. Then what you say will do good to those who listen to you.
Proverbs 11:17 (MSG)
17 When you're kind to others, you help yourself; when you're cruel to others, you hurt yourself.
Lesson: Remember to make sure that the words we speak are kind, can build and are not used to tear down before we speak them because our words towards others have the power to affect us as well.
