Ups And Downs

Greetings to all, on this "hump" day Wednesday, may God grant us the wisdom and strength to make it through the circumstances beyond our control.

We live in an uncertain world, but there is one thing sure in this life. There will be ups and downs, and our lives can feel like a roller coaster ride with no way off. While we won't all be at the same place at the same time, we can all overcome them with the help of the Lord.

Instead of asking why these ups and downs, we should be content on the ride, take pleasure in the ups, and learn from the downs because God is in control and will bring us through our hard times and uphill struggles.

Ecclesiastes 7:13-14 (RSV)

13 Consider the work of God; who can make straight what he has made crooked?

14 In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him.

Lesson: We can trust the providence of God's backing because He uses the events in our lives, and He is in the Good and the bad.
