Two Strikes You're Out

Greetings to all. This week, be intentional in your actions and how you treat others.

It can be difficult to recognize and judge others’ actions correctly. There's a rule in baseball that says three strikes, you're out. In life, to protect our peace, sometimes it may be wise to allow only two strikes for divisive, argumentative, and those who attempt to steal our peace.

Proverbs 26:11 (ASV)

11 As a dog that returneth to his vomit, so is a fool that repeateth his folly.

Lesson: Set boundaries when dealing with those who are incompatible or disrupt your peace. Giving two chances allows us to recognize patterns of behavior. This is not about holding back on forgiveness or cutting people off; it is meant to determine how much we will tolerate. Remember, one time can be a mistake, but two times show a pattern and are a choice.
