The Treasures We Value

Greetings to all. At the end of the week, we should make sure the world's attractions don't stretch us so thin that we abandon our love for God.

We have many choices, and at some point, each of us must decide what matters most: should our focus be on accumulating wealth here on earth or spiritual riches in heaven? In either case, we must take a moment, consider our priorities, and ensure that Jesus remains at the heart of our lives.

Matthew 6:21 (MSG)

21 It’s obvious, isn’t it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be and end up being.

Lesson: When we consider the things we spend our time on and value most, we must not omit Jesus and should not place so much emphasis on earthly treasures. Instead, we should spend time maximizing our heavenly rewards. Nothing at all works without Jesus.
