The Stormy Lessons

Greetings to all; on this "hump" day, Wednesday, let us remember Jesus's authority in His humanity and deity.

Our lives will and can quickly go from stormless to stormy. But just as fast as our situations become stormy, Jesus, the one and only Lord of the storms, has the power to control the uncontrollable. During these stormy seasons of life, Jesus teaches us lessons to understand and trust His power and authority while calming us and our storms.

Mark 4:40–41 (NIV)

40 He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?"

41 They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!"

Lesson: We have nothing to fear. God may not remove us from the storms when they arise in our lives, but He will be with us and will always get us to the other side. Never put more trust in the storm's ability to destroy us than we put in Our Savior Jesus Christ to save us.
