Greetings to all, let us thank God for guiding our steps into another blessed weekend! May He continue to bless us with the wisdom and discernment to continue making wise decisions and only walking through the doors He opens. Amen

There is power in open doors, and we serve a God who loves to open doors for us. What we need, God has it, but we must be aware who has opened the door and must be careful who we let enter with us. Both the power of good and evil can open a door, and both will enter an open door.

As children of God, we are encouraged to be on the lookout, not leaving ourselves open and exposed, giving the enemy a foothold, whether it's the door to our homes, hearts, minds, our earthly relationships, or our relationship with God.

1 Peter 5:8 (NLT2)

8 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

Revelation 3:8-11 (HCSB)

8 I know your works. Because you have limited strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name, look, I have placed before you an open door that no one is able to close.

9 Take note! I will make those from the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews and are not, but are lying—note this—I will make them come and bow down at your feet, and they will know that I have loved you.

10 Because you have kept My command to endure, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is going to come over the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

11 I am coming quickly. Hold on to what you have, so that no one takes your crown.

Matthew 7:7-8 (HCSB)

7 "Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who searches finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Lesson: Because we serve a God of open doors, the enemy will try to enter them, and when we don't allow Him in, He looks for ways to deceive us with doors that He opens. Those are the doors that God often time closes to protect us.

The Good news is that when God opens a door, no devil can shut it, and when God closes a door, no devil can open it.

God knows that we get weak; today, let us ask the Lord to close every door where the devil tries to enter through to create havoc in our lives.

We must keep the faith; we have the power to live and walk through every open door that God opens, with authority through prayer and God's word.
