Greetings to all; as we move through this week, may the Lord guide us with compassion that will allow us to be the ones to help those who are hurting.
Using the construction context, we can see how life resembles a broken wall and its foundation. Life has a way of breaking us, and we all may have some personal brokenness that needs to be repaired, restored, and built upon instead of being judged or abandoned.
Isaiah 58:12 (MSG)
12 You'll use the old rubble of past lives to build anew and rebuild the foundations from your past. You'll be known as those who can fix anything, restore old ruins, rebuild and renovate, and make the community livable again.
Lesson: God doesn't allow our brokenness to destroy us. He will use it to strengthen us so that when we encounter other broken people, places, and things, we will, instead of judging, abandoning, or adding to their destruction, we will assist in restoring them.
