The Heart and the Mouth

Greetings to all. As we begin this week, let us remember that our words reflect who we are.

The heart and the mouth are the two things that show our true identity. What's on the inside will eventually show on the outside. It is important that we live a constant and consistent lifestyle because what we think or hold in our hearts will come out of our mouths.

Luke 6:45 (KJV 1900)

45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Lesson: Our hearts are like storehouses, and our words show what is inside. Since our thoughts shape our actions, as Christians, let's focus on good thoughts, because our words will reveal our true character.
