The Harmful Effect of Gossip

Greetings to all. Gossiping and listening to gossip can have serious consequences.

We are often told that words cannot hurt us, but in reality, words carry tremendous power. Negative and careless words can wound deeply, damaging relationships and undermining our confidence. However, we can take heart and stand firm, knowing that God is always on our side. God’s blessings and protection surround us. He is faithful to uplift us in the presence of those who wish us harm.

5 You prepare a banquet for me while my enemies watch.  You anoint my head with oil.  My cup overflows. 

Lesson: Let us stay steadfast in our faith, remembering that no word spoken against us can overshadow the love and favor God has for us. We must hold on and keep trusting God will see us through. Choose your words with care and use them to encourage and uplift others.
