The Gift of Separation

Greetings to all. This weekend, let us embrace the constant evolution that is shaping us.

This evolution may be the reason we distance ourselves and let go. The reality is that we realize certain people, places, or things do not serve us or have the same impact they once did. Even the old version of ourselves fits into this reality. We have outgrown these.  In the story of Abram and Lot, we find the blueprint for separating without strife.

Genesis 13:6 (NKJV)

6Now the land was not able to support them, that they might dwell together, for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together.

Lesson: Once we recognize that we have outgrown certain people, places, or things, it is acceptable to separate without strife. The main lesson is to part ways peacefully when the capacity for connection is no longer there.
