The Cross Still Stands

Happy Easter! He is Risen, He is Risen Indeed!

Greetings to all. This Sunday, let us reflect on God’s power and worship Him for our source of hope, joy, and ongoing salvation through Jesus.

Although Jesus said, “It is finished,” His work continues. Despite our griefs, sorrows, and all the uncertainty in the world, the cross, its power, and its message still stand. The cross is central to the Gospel and magnifies the power of God.

1 Corinthians 1:18–19 (GW)

18The message about the cross is nonsense to those who are being destroyed, but it is God’s power to us who are being saved.

19Scripture says, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise.  I will reject the intelligence of intelligent people.” 

Lesson: By God’s power magnified at the cross, we can be saved. Unfortunately, some will reject Jesus Christ, while others will accept Him. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Savior, I invite you today to make that choice. Pray, seek His forgiveness, and trust Him with your life.
