The Call to Change

Greetings to all. This weekend, if we feel the need for a refreshing time, it could be a signal to make a change in ourselves.

Not all change is bad, but most change is usually difficult, especially when it involves something sinful. Whenever the change we need deals with sin, the opportunity for repentance is always available to all. Instead of only being sentimental, we can truly be refreshed through repentance.

Acts 3:19–20 (GW)

19 So change the way you think and act and turn ⸤to God⸥ to have your sins removed.

20 Then times will come when the Lord will refresh you. He will send you Jesus, whom he has appointed to be the Christ.

Lesson: Seek the presence of the Lord, for it will help make the necessary changes, and repentance will have the power to put us into God’s presence.
