Greetings to all. This weekend, let us not let life's stress weaken our faith or reduce our joy.
Stress can cloud our judgment, making us feel everything must happen right away. Despite this stress, life tends to work itself out over time. Just as physical exercise builds our bodies over time, nurturing our faith enhances our spiritual strength. While it takes time, both help to reduce our stress.
1 Timothy 4:8–10 (GW)
8 Training the body helps a little, but godly living helps in every way. Godly living promises life now and in the world to come.
9 This is a statement that can be trusted and deserves complete acceptance.
10 Certainly, we work hard and struggle to live godly lives because we place our confidence in the living God. He is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.
Lesson: Physical exercise and faith enhance our well-being and provide rewards like good health, joy, and pride.
