Greetings to all, as we start this new week, let us look forward to a new week of promises. Let us stand firm and strong, not allowing any circumstances to take away our joy this week. May the joy of the Lord be our strength. Amen
We all want to be better or to get better at doing what we do in each of our personal lives and what we do for the Lord. However, even as Christians, we will have our doubts and struggle in our faith about God's plan for us at some point and time in our lives.
The comfort and assurance that we have are that God never sends us into a situation or have us do life alone. God faithfully keeps His promise to always be with us, and better than that, He always goes before us and walks with us.
God is right now working everything out, so let's keep moving forward, even though we don't know what this week holds. We know who controls this week.
Colossians 3:23 (NCV)
23 In all the work you are doing, work the best you can. Work as if you were doing it for the Lord, not for people.
1 Corinthians 16:13 (NCV)
13 Be alert. Continue strong in the faith. Have courage, and be strong.
1 Corinthians 15:58 (NCV)
58 So my dear brothers and sisters, stand strong. Do not let anything change you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your work in the Lord is never wasted.
Lesson: Because Jesus has paved the way for us, nothing that we do is useless. Whatever task or situation we feel is draining or burdensome to us this week, let us not become discouraged but let us be strong and stand firm, looking at them as acts of worship or service to God.
