Greeting's to all, for we know that God fills our lives with good things, but may our hunger and thirst be for Him as we worship this Sunday.

Maintaining a healthy and nutritional diet is one of our most significant challenges. Those of us who have dieted know that we must stick to the plan for it to work. The same is true when it comes to our spiritual diet plan. We must maintain a spiritual appetite.

Matthew 5:6 (ESV)

6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

John 6:33–35 (ESV)

33 For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."

34 They said to him, "Sir, give us this bread always."

35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

Lesson: While there are many essential needs for living, God desires us to be spiritually fed. Our most profound need is the bread of life to be filled and nourished with God's words. Let us not be spiritually malnourished.
