Seat Jesus as Your King

Greetings to all. Let us commit this Sunday to following Jesus and living according to His will.

For believers, Jesus is our King and has authority over our lives; as we mature in faith, we recognize our responsibility to live in accordance with His will.

Matthew 16:24–26 (KJV 1900)

24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Lesson: Jesus’ Kingdom is not of this world, yet He reigns as King in our lives and hearts. Jesus as King moves us from self-interest to dedicating ourselves to advancing His Kingdom, both within us and in others.
