Rooted in Everlasting Love

Greetings to all. As we prepare to rest this weekend, let us trust that we can always return to God, who anchors our identity and well-being.

Sometimes, loving others distracts us from our identity as loved and enough. Then, we must journey a long way back to who we are. Yet even then, we never need to doubt God’s everlasting love. God’s voice assures us: we are cherished and rooted in unchanging love. God’s Love will never let us go.

Jeremiah 31:3 (NRSV)

3 The LORD appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, I have continued my faithfulness to you.

Lesson: When relationships change or face challenges, God’s love and grace remain constant. This unchanging foundation assures us of our secure identity and gives us confidence to always return to God.
