Greetings to all. On this "grateful" Thursday, let us thank God for those who go to great lengths to help us reach Jesus.
Having friends is a valuable asset. However, there are times when we can mistakenly equate having wealth and material things with being our greatest asset.
Mark 2:2–4 (NCV)
Many people gathered together, so there was no room in the house, not even outside the door. And Jesus was teaching them God's message.
3 Four people came, carrying a paralyzed man.
4 Since they could not get to Jesus because of the crowd, they dug a hole in the roof right above where he was speaking. When they got through, they lowered the mat with the paralyzed man on it.
Lesson: Let this story remind us that true and valuable friends are those who are willing not only to carry us, but also to tear open a roof for us to reach Jesus. That is a true blessing!
