Greetings to all, thank God that we have made it to another weekend! May each of us get to rest and relax on this blessed Saturday from this week's stress, hardships, and labor. Amen

For everyone who needs, seek, and believe God's word, may we rest, be safe, and be comforted this weekend knowing that God's grace is sufficient and will bring us through whatever we may face.

We must all keep in mind daily that none of us are immune from the temptations of the evil one. If it's peace and comfort that we need and wants in our lives, then we must hide God's word in our hearts.

Matthew 11:28-30 (AMP)

28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]

29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.

30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.

Psalm 16:8-9 (GW)

8 I always keep the LORD in front of me. When he is by my side, I cannot be moved.

9 That is why my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices. My body rests securely.

Lesson: We must Continually ask God for the daily strength to keep our minds stayed on Him so that we will be kept secure in our faith and will have peace of mind and rest for our souls.
