Responding To Trials

Greetings to all; on this "hump" day, Wednesday, let us continue to move forward as we trust the power of God to help us during our trials.

In life, it is not a matter of if but when we will experience trials that we will not be able to handle. We often misunderstand them and want to be free from them immediately. However, God has a way of using trials to strengthen our faith and prepare us to triumph.

2 Corinthians 1:8 (ESV)

8 For we do not want you to be unaware of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself.

Lesson: We may not always be able to handle the trials in our life. But, when our response is to rely on God, He will never put more on us than He can handle.
