Greetings to all; I pray we feel strong and victorious as we end another week.
No matter who or what situations we face in life, we have a personal responsibility to be victorious and not be a victim. In most areas of life, we will encounter those more concerned with self-preservation and who lack concern and compassion for others.
John 5:7–8 (GNB)
7 The sick man answered, “Sir, I have no one here to put me in the pool when the water is stirred up; while I am trying to get in, somebody else gets there first.”
8 Jesus said to him, “Get up, pick up your mat, and walk.”
Lesson: Not everyone who makes it through life always feels strong and victorious, and we all suffer from deficiencies and shortcomings which keep us down and tempt us to take on the victim mentally. We must refuse to be a victim and keep trying to be victorious.
