Recalling God's Goodness

Greetings to all; on this "grateful" Thursday, let us not forget all of God's goodness as we move through life.

As time passes, it is easy for us sometimes to forget the good while holding on to the bad. Mostly it is the bad memories that we commit to memory.

Joshua 4:6–7 (GNB)

6 These stones will remind the people of what the LORD has done. In the future, when your children ask what these stones mean to you,

7 you will tell them that the water of the Jordan stopped flowing when the LORD's Covenant Box crossed the river. These stones will always remind the people of Israel of what happened here."

Lesson: As we move through life, we do not need to live with regrets or hold on to bad memories. We should recall God's goodness and tell them to the next generation.
