Power of Humility

Greetings to all.  This Sunday, let us come together and kneel before God in humility. By doing this, we can grow stronger in honoring God and gain the confidence to stand before others.

While humility and being humble are choices we make each day, the humble strength we find in prayer and in spending time with God gives us power, courage, and the ability to stand confidently before anyone.

James 4:10 (NIV84)

10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

Lesson: We are encouraged to approach God with confidence. Yet, too often, we try to face others before spending time with God.  Staying humble before God is not a sign of weakness; it is a true act of humility that leads to our being lifted.
