Pleasing God

Greetings to all; as we enter this new week, let no fear of disapproval from men be larger than our faith in God, causing us to please men over God.

Some think being impressive and pleasing others is the way to connect and get along. Having an obligation in our walk with God, we must learn to live our lives where we let pleasing God be more important than pleasing others.

Galatians 1:10 (MSG)

10 Do you think I speak this strongly to manipulate crowds? Or curry favor with God? Or get popular applause? I wouldn't bother being Christ's servant if my goal was popularity.

Lesson: Because God's approval matters the most, it is beneficial and worth staying faithful to His word and living a life pleasing to God. It can be dangerous for us to live to please men.
