Peace Through Pleasing God

Greetings to all. Take some time this weekend to rest and feel at peace, knowing that your life brings joy to the Lord.

We all know that life sometimes brings people who would rather be our enemies than our friends. Still, God has a plan for each of us that brings Him glory and gives us joy. When we live in a way that pleases Him, we can trust that even those who want to be against us will find peace with us. No matter how much we try to make peace, only God can truly change a person's heart.

Proverbs 16:7 (GW)

7When a person’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. 

Lesson: We serve a powerful and sovereign God. He helps us move from fear to faith, even when we face those who oppose us. When we live in a way that pleases Him, He can cause our enemies to stop fighting us.
