Greetings to all, this Friday, as we close out this week, let us look to the future, leaving any disappointments of the things that didn't go the way we planned behind.

This week, while things may not have gone the way we planned, not everyone may have had their week ruined with disappointments because God's plans are always better than ours. However, each of us has our thoughts, plans, and expectations of others that can sometimes disappoint us, especially when they don't line up with ours.

Isaiah 55:8–9 (NCV)

8 The LORD says, "My thoughts are not like your thoughts. Your ways are not like my ways.

9 Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

Lesson: Holding on to the disappointment of others will and can dash our hopes and take away our joy. To overcome our disappointments in others, we must recognize that each of us has ways and thoughts, exclusively ours.
