Greetings to all, we have made it to "hump" day Wednesday, and what a year we have had to "hump" through. As we prepare to enter 2021, a new year, let us ask God to show each of us where He wants us to go and what He wants us to be. Amen

Life is a journey that we must all make no matter the roads' condition and the paths we must take. Often, we settle for the paths of least resistance, meaning we don't want to venture towards anything that may challenge us or cause us any hardship.

Psalm 25:4-5 (TLB)

4 Show me the path where I should go, O Lord; point out the right road for me to walk.

5 Lead me; teach me; for you are the God who gives me salvation. I have no hope except in you.

Psalm 25:8-10 (TLB)

8 The Lord is good and glad to teach the proper path to all who go astray;

9 he will teach the ways that are right and best to those who humbly turn to him.

10 And when we obey him, every path he guides us on is fragrant with his loving-kindness and his truth.

As we move through life, we should not be in such a hurry to choose the easy paths or roads in life. Did you know that those difficult, problematic paths or roads will lead us to our most beautiful destinations?

Ephesians 5:15-17 (TLB)

15 So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don't be fools; be wise:

16 make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good.

17 Don't act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to.

Lesson: Being the great teacher that He is, God will often use those challenging paths as teachable moments.

Just because the teacher is quiet doesn't mean that He is not present; it only means that the test has begun!
