Greetings to all, on this "grateful" Thursday, let us give God all the honor, glory, and all praise for loving us without limit.
There's a song that says: "What the world needs now is love, sweet love. It's the only thing that there's just too little of"...
Not only is the world experiencing COVID and political fatigue, but There also seems to be a bit of compassion fatigue. Yes, what the world needs is love and not just any love. We need to demonstrate God's love, which has no limits.
John 13:34-35 (TLB)
34 "And so I am giving a new commandment to you now—love each other just as much as I love you.
35 Your strong love for each other will prove to the world that you are my disciples."
During this Advent season, let us stay focused and reminded that even though it seems that evil is prevailing, God is still in control. We have an enemy whose job it is to kill, steal, and destroy.
His tactics can and will rob and strip us of the love, hope, joy, and peace that God desires for each of us. We must keep our eyes focused on God and trust His limitless power and His unlimited plan for us.
Psalm 147:5 (GW)
5 Our Lord is great, and his power is great. There is no limit to his understanding.
Psalm 36:5 (TLB)
5 Your steadfast love, O Lord, is as great as all the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.
Psalm 145:1-4 (MSG)
1 David's praise I lift you high in praise, my God, O my King! And I'll bless your name into eternity.
2 I'll bless you every day, and keep it up from now to eternity.
3 GOD is magnificent; he can never be praised enough. There are no boundaries to his greatness.
4 Generation after generation stands in awe of your work; each one tells stories of your mighty acts.
Lesson: God shows his great limitless love for us in this way; He sent His Son Christ, who died for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8).
