Open Invitation To Follow Jesus

Greetings to all, this Sunday at the altar call, let us be open to and listen so that we can respond to a most powerful and effective invitation to Jesus today.

When life appears to go from bad to worse, Jesus our Savior is still looking for each of us. There's a radical and direct call with a personal invitation to return to or develop a relationship with Jesus.

Mark 8:34 (MSG)

34 Calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, "Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You're not in the driver's seat; I am. Don't run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me, and I'll show you how.

Jesus is calling us right where we are, but it takes courage to want to live a changed life for Christ and to accept His invitation. However, once we accept the invitation to follow Christ, it will drastically change our lives but for the better.

Lesson: Jesus's invitation to follow is for each of us today. Listen to Jesus, answer the call to follow, and accept His invitation to become one of His disciples.
