Greetings to all. As we begin the week, remember to prioritize your well-being, even as you pursue your goals and achievements.
We spend our days working, eating, resting, and, if fortunate, finding happiness and spiritual growth. Yet, nothing depletes us more than feeling spiritually empty. In our pursuit of satisfaction, we may prioritize the needs of others and accumulation over genuine well-being. By caring for both our bodies and spirits, and cultivating gratitude and contentment, we uncover genuine fulfillment.
Luke 12:15 (MSG)
15Speaking to the people, he went on, “Take care! Protect yourself against even the slightest hint of greed. Life is not defined by what you have, even when you have a lot.”
Lesson: Our satisfaction and well-being in life should not come from what we have managed to achieve and from those we surround ourselves with. It should come as we equally care for both body and soul. Well-being is rooted in gratitude, contentment, and nourishing every part of ourselves.
