None Good Enough

Greetings to all. As we gather this Sunday, let us reflect on a profound truth: none of us can rely on our own goodness to reach heaven.
The fact that we are not good enough to go to heaven comes with a 'not on our own' clause. One of the greatest misunderstandings the world has about the kingdom of God is that many people believe goodness will automatically grant them entry into heaven. Until we are forgiven, we will find ourselves standing guilty before God.
Romans 3:23–24 (GW)
23 Because all people have sinned, they have fallen short of God’s glory.
24 They receive God’s approval freely by an act of his kindness through the price Christ Jesus paid to set us free ⸤from sin⸥.
Lesson: We all fall short because we all sin. But anyone can be forgiven and go to heaven through God’s simple plan of salvation.
