Greetings to all, on this Sunday, let us thank God for the trust and belief that our hope is dependent on Jesus Christ as we continue in the word.
While there will be occasions in life when it is wise for us to walk away from evil, unfortunately, there may also be times in our lives when others will not want to be around us because of our belief and steadfast following of God's word.
John 6:66–68 (KJV)
66 From that time, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.
67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
1 Timothy 4:1 (GW)
1 The Spirit says clearly that some believers will desert the Christian faith in later times. They will follow spirits that deceive, and they will believe the teachings of demons.
Lesson: Jesus understood those who turned away from Him did so because they did not want to accept the words He spoke. Each of us has the freedom to choose whether we will follow Jesus. Be warned; there is danger in turning or walking away from God's word.
