Greetings to all, let us thank God for the gift of another day to magnify His name and offer to Him sacrifices of praise no matter where we may find ourselves on this Tuesday and throughout the week. Amen
"No Pain, No Gain" is a famous proverb saying in the athletic world when people try to get into shape. It implies or suggests that we can't build strength and the power to endure without going through some pain or discomfort.
Although the "No Pain, No Gain" saying is not proven to be accurate in the athletic world, the same saying can be accurately applied to and is proven to be the requirement for our desire to get righteousness.
It's hard to achieve glory in God's eyes without sacrifice. No matter how painful we think our lives are, we must continue to endure, keep the faith and never give up as we wait for the Lord to look upon us with His favor for a healing touch to our bodies, minds, and souls.
Romans 8:22-25 (NCV)
22 We know that everything God made has been waiting until now in pain, like a woman ready to give birth.
23 Not only the world, but we also have been waiting with pain inside us. We have the Spirit as the first part of God's promise. So we are waiting for God to finish making us his own children, which means our bodies will be made free.
24 We were saved, and we have this hope. If we see what we are waiting for, that is not really hope. People do not hope for something they already have.
25 But we are hoping for something we do not have yet, and we are waiting for it patiently.
If we want to please God, we must not turn our backs on doing good, and we must continue to love and share with others.
Romans 12:1 (MSG)
1 So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.
Lesson: We can learn and grow stronger from our pain and struggles. Jesus came to make us His disciples (Luke 14:27) and ultimately made the greatest sacrifice.
He endured great pain so that each of us could have our greatest gain of having eternal life.
