Season of Lent: Day 28

Greetings to all. This weekend, let us be prepared to receive the treasures and new beginning set aside for us.

As we look ahead to change, it’s important to recognize that holding on to what is toxic, trashy, or harmful to us does not make practical sense. Change is coming, and only by releasing those things can we prepare ourselves for transformation, new beginnings, and all that God has for us.

Isaiah 43:18 (NKJV)

18 “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.

Lesson: God calls us to move beyond the past. Though He removes toxic things from our lives, we often desire them and return to what we should release. When negativity overwhelms us, let God handle it, and once He does, don’t look back.
