Greetings to all, on this Sunday, we are thankful for Godly mothers. Let us ask God to bless all mothers and those they love and are praying for. Amen

We want for our children many things, ask any Christian mother, and she will tell you her deepest desire is for her children to change their lives if they don't have a relationship with God.

God tells us to honor our mothers, not if she is good or bad, but to honor them. So, we all can and should be thankful for our mothers, even forgiving them if necessary.

Ephesians 6:1-3 (TLB)

1 Children, obey your parents; this is the right thing to do because God has placed them in authority over you.

2 Honor your father and mother. This is the first of God's Ten Commandments that ends with a promise.

3 And this is the promise: that if you honor your father and mother, yours will be a long life, full of blessing.

Acts 2:38-39 (MSG)

38 Peter said, "Change your life. Turn to God and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, so your sins are forgiven. Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

39 The promise is targeted to you and your children, but also to all who are far away—whomever, in fact, our Master God invites."

Lesson: As mothers, we should live Godly lives as an example for our children. And even then, we can only share what we have with them no matter how close we live with God.

The rest is up to our children. They must take the next steps, repent, and be baptized to have their very own personal relationship with God.
